Venus conjunct Uranus

In the financial world it represents possessions and income. Sectors symbolized by this planet include financials/banking, luxury items, beauty/fashion, copper, and some currencies, such as crypto (which it co-rules with the planet Uranus).
Venus “rules” the signs of Taurus and Libra, which are the 2nd and 7th houses of the zodiac. Its alignment with Taurus (2nd house), a grounded earth sign, also representing one’s income/money/prosperity, is usually favorable, as it was during last year’s transit from May 19 – June 11, 2024 (mild gains), and again this year, since June 6.
Uranus is the third to last furthest planet from the Sun in our universe, changes zodiac signs approximately once every 7 years, and takes about 84 years to complete one rotation around the sun. This planet is known as the “Great Disruptor” representing sudden, unexpected events, and radical change.

As discussed in our Planet Power - Uranus blog, dated 4-6-24, the planet Uranus has been positioned in the sign of Taurus (an Earth sign, ruled by Venus, and symbolized by the Bull), since 2018. Both Taurus and Venus signify positive money related matters, and the United States Stock Market responded with a rather lengthy bull market (with 2022, and a brief time during the pandemic, as the exception). Advancements during this time frame were financially and futuristic technology based, including AI, space, electric vehicles, and Bitcoin, as the planet Uranus (technology and sudden change) made its 7-year trek through the sign. As you can see, however, sudden, drastic changes occurred during the transit, in both directions.
This Friday, July 4, 2025, Venus will conjunct Uranus, as it does once every year. This year’s “meeting” will take place in 29 degrees of Taurus, just before both enter the sign of Gemini next week. The U.S. equities markets will be closed for the holiday weekend (starting at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025), which may temper the potential volatility.
Together with the current Jupiter ingress Cancer, Mercury in Leo, and Neptune Retrograde events, it is likely beneficial that markets will not be open, and susceptible to rash, emotional trading, especially during this particular U.S. holiday.
As we have discussed in the past, the themes of many transits and aspects tend to repeat themselves, and the energies can be felt for some time before and after the actual date of the event. As we also noted in previous blogs, both Venus and Mercury are associated more with swing-trading than longer-term investing, as they quickly move through signs. Also beware that in a few weeks (July 18), there will be the next Mercury Retrograde, which normally wreaks havoc on the market.
The general consensus among financial astrologers is this Venus conjunct Uranus transit could affect Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency (as that market is always open) and digital assets, though by Monday morning the reaction may be weaker. Expect the unexpected, whether positive or negative.
