SIGN LANGUAGE
Gemini Season
As discussed in Chapter 4 of our publication, “When to Buy and When to Sell: Combining Easy Indicators, Charts, and Financial Astrology” (available on Amazon), and our Sign Language – Introduction blog dated 3-24-24, the zodiacal signs are part of every individual and business birth charts, based on date and time of birth, incorporation, or first public trade date (on an equity index).
As documented, the general/mundane zodiac begins with the sign of Aries (as the 1st house), and the houses then move counter-clockwise around the zodiac wheel, until they reach the 12th house, completing the cycle. Also noted is the fact that the 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 11th are the financially focused houses, though others can have minor influences. On our website will periodically discuss these energies regarding the mundane (general collective) and the U.S. Stock Market first trade date chart.
Today’s focus is the sign of Gemini, symbolized by The Twins, which resides in the 3rd house of the zodiac (based on the Aries Rising chart). Gemini is an air, mutable, male sign, ruled by Mercury. Some of its attributes include the mind/thinking, siblings, social activity, and early education. Gemini is a major communications themed sign, which it has in common with Mercury, a major communications themed planet. Gemini is symbolized by the Twins, which signifies dual personality, and a push and pull of the equity markets. Gemini “season” (when the Sun is traveling through the sign of Gemini) runs generally from May 20 to June 20 annually, as it does in 2025. Whenever a specific sign “season” occurs, the Sun shines its energies and brings it to the forefront.
Historically, seasonal volatility is common during this time frame, though each year can be slightly different, of course, depending on macro events and other planetary transits/aspects.
The current position of Mercury in Aries will soon end as the planet ingresses Taurus for only a few weeks. It will then enter the sign of Gemini (one of its two “home” signs), mid-season, on May 26. Last year, Gemini season experienced a Jupiter ingress into its sign, which immediately resulted in a moderate stock market gains, which carried through the end of 2024.
This year’s Gemini season includes a few interesting planetary transits, including Saturn entering the sign of Aries, on May 24, lasting for about 2 ½ years (please review our recent Trader Transits – Saturn in Aries blog, dated 5-8-25). This transit brings structure to Aries, which is a new beginning, aggressive action sign. This combination may bring a more realistic market, which would be welcome by all, after the long period of Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, which symbolized the unknown, delusion, and uncertainty. Opportunities will arise, though it will not be easy.
The planet Venus will also enter the sign of Taurus (its “home” sign) mid-season, on June 5, extending into Cancer season, symbolizing a potential refocusing on communication around the topic of digital money. As the “grounded” sign of Taurus (ruled by Venus), resulted in expected calmer markets short-term, a return to some volatility is likely in June. Mars will remain in the sign of Leo through the first half of Gemini season, where it spent the entire season of Taurus, signifying one’s focus on their own finances, including CEO’s and world leaders.
As the planet Uranus spends its last days in the sign of Taurus, after 7 years, it will ingress to the sign of Gemini, right after Gemini season, which will be discussed in an upcoming blog in the near future. Sectors of focus will continue to be cybersecurity, space exploration, AI, quantum computing, electric vehicles, and transportation, with the usual volatility.
Finally, all birth/natal charts are unique, and every individual (or business) possesses its own set of planetary and sign positions in each house.
